Here’s Some Totally Random Facebook Posts From A Board Member Who Refuses To Certify Wayne County’s Election Results
Today, the Wayne County Board of Canvassers did something pretty unprecedented. Despite no verified evidence of voter fraud or systemic balloting issues, on a 2–2 party line vote, they failed to certify the results of the election in Wayne County — the largest county in the state, which includes Detroit.
Of course, Monica Palmer, one of the Republican board members who voted against certifying the results, did say that she would be willing to certify the vote count for everywhere…except Detroit itself. Hm. Interesting.
But in this particular article we aren’t here to talk about her. We’re here to talk about the other member of the board who also voted against certifying the vote tally — William Hartmann. Let’s get a sense of this guy up close and personal. I wonder if his Facebook feed will be full of interesting scholarly articles about civics, elections, democracy, or — erm, hm…
Oh man, wow, hm this doesn’t look great. But I mean, these posts are so old — we’ve all grown a lot in the last ten years. Maybe he had a bad sense of humor back then. I’m sure he’s totally objective and qualified to certify an election in 2020, right?
Well, there you have it. Clearly no problems here. Obviously, this man is fully qualified to risk the stability of our democratic process. Full speed ahead!
